Yes, yes ... I realize I am two weeks late in posting this, but better late than never right!?
Anyway, I had a great 25th birthday here. I celebrated by not teaching, eating cerel in bed while watching cartoons, going swimming and having a party! Even the weather celebrated me by deciding to snow big, beautiful flakes!
The party, that had to start at 4pm do to cultural standards, was a blast! Twelve of my friends came to my flat to talk, drink tea, eat American yellow box cake (my favorite! Thanks mommy!) and play games! One game I introduced them to was my own version of pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey ... aka "put-Julie-in-Indiana" (you can see part of the game on the wall in the picture).
Even though English wasn't spoken the entire time, I had a good time knowing everyone else was enjoying themselves too!
What a way to start a new quarter of a century!
