moving on

For those of you still following this blog, you have probably noted that I have been back in the US for over a year and I am no longer writing here.

After only a year since living in Azerbaijan, so much has happened there. The about half of the foreigners I lived life with have left (for personal or government reasons) and the school I taught at is no longer in existance. This leaves me with two strong thoughts: one - I am so thankful to have been led there when I was! two - my heart breaks for the believers (both Azeri and Foreigners) moving on with less support. (However, I firmly believe God will provide!)



I still occassionally keep in contact with some students and foreigners there, and the most common question is "Julie, when are you coming back?" Will I go back? ... I would be open to it. Do I see it happening anytime soon? ... Unfortunately not. But I desperately love that country and those people ... God made sure of that!
